BJP leader Daggubati Purandeswari addressing a press meet in Vijayawada said that Andhra Pradesh requires the Special Status category along with Special package. But with certain difficulties cropping up, Special Status cannot be expected at present, the BJP leader said.
She further added that the Central government is making sure to provide the requirements for the state in a phased manner and BJP is moving forward with 'Sabke Saath-Sabaka Vikash' principle.
