Amid coronavirus outbreak led lockdown for the last couple of months, the police have seized the vehicles of many people who were on the road over violating the lockdown rules. They were all piled up in police stations. Now, in the wake of the lockdown relaxations, AP CM Jagan has made a sensational decision on these vehicles, which has become a boon for motorists.

While the rest of the states in the country are taking severe actions over the police-seized vehicles in violation of lockdown regulations, the Andhra Pradesh government headed by chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has made the decision to give the public a go.

Jagan has issued key directions on sealed vehicles in AP. The police department has been asked to collect Rs. 100 and self-assurance document over violation of regulations once again. They are advised to return the vehicles immediately. This enabled motorists to take their vehicles without having to attend court.

DGP Gautam Sawang said vehicle owners who were seized to this extent should contact the respective police station and take the vehicles after submitting the documents. "Approximately 70,000 vehicles are being seized in Andhra Pradesh," DGP said. Motorists at AP are expressing their happiness over the government's decisions.
