Government nod to upgrade 6,143 posts of Language Pandits as School Assistants
The State government accorded permission to upgrade 6,143 posts of Language Pandits LPs as School Assistants After the file related to it has been signed by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Saturday, a Government Order issued said along with LPs, the government has also given its nod for upgrade of 802 posts of Physical Education Teachers PETs as School Assistants Physical Education
Hyderabad: The State government accorded permission to upgrade 6,143 posts of Language Pandits (LPs) as School Assistants. After the file related to it has been signed by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Saturday, a Government Order issued said along with LPs, the government has also given its nod for upgrade of 802 posts of Physical Education Teachers (PETs) as School Assistants (Physical Education).
Accordingly, all those working in the Mandal Primary, Upper Primary Schools, Zilla Parishad Schools, Government schools will come under the pay scale of 28940-78910, in the Revised Pay Scales of 2015, the GO said. Following these changes, 8,630 LPs and 1,849 PETs in total 10,479 posts have been upgraded as school assistants. Reacting to the orders TSUF general secretary Chava Ravi welcomed the government's decision.
However, the GO has only mentioned about the upgradation of the posts and not how promotions will be given, he said. Hence, we request the school education department to issue guidelines for the promotions along with the GO to give more clarity, he added.Language Pandits as School Assistants
